Martyrdom of Imam Mohammad Bagher (p.b.u.h)

 

There is a direction for each group to which they move. Select the goodness, wherever you are, God will ask you to come and He is able to do everything. (Sura: Baghareh, Verse: 148)
In interpretation of the above-mentioned verse, Imam Bagher (AS) prescribed: Charities mean Imamate of the family of prophet (AS) and friends of the Resurrector 1 (AS).
Imam (AS) also prescribe: Our Imamate might not be attained, except by piety and goodness, so you should fear God and act so that you will reach divine meritorious. In fact, there is no affinity between God and one of the creatures and the dearest creatures of God is one who is more pious and avoids what has been prohibited by God and obeys divine orders more. One might not be close to God, except by obeying Him and whoever is obedient to God, is considered as our friend and saint. 2

Imam Bagher (AS) was reminded of Hazrat Mahdi (AS)  much, specially he was talking about his powerful friends and their specifications. Imam (AS) was explaining the cases in this respect and was teaching to his students the method and ways of waiting and making the ground for the world movement of Hazrat Mahdi (AS) and was giving them hope and was elevating their spirits. 3

Imam Bagher (AS) prescribed considering  the friends of Imam of the Time (May Almighty God Hasten His Coming):

“Friends of Resurrector are 313. The first person with whom they take oath of allegiance, is Gabriel, then his friends take oath of allegiance. I swear God that about 310 people come among whom there are 50 women who are gathered in Mecca.

God of the east and the west conquers the world. By aware that the they are the real faithful men and be aware that the real Jihad takes place in the end of the world. He emerges when the nightmare of disappointment has prevailed and no one is hopeful for any help. He emerges after a long absence and during this period, he is the only one who is faithful to his religion, who is pure in his faith and is accompanied by the spirit of certainty. They are the people who has made contract with God on our Imamate,  and God has placed faith in their hearts and has confirmed them with his soul. Happy are those who have comprehended his time and are among his friends.

But, emergence of Relief shall depend on divine will, and whoever considers a time or has a prediction, lies. He will not emerge, except when living is very difficult. The brothers oppress, the rulers are despotic. Piety diminishes, greed increases. He will not emerge, except after a disturbance when all the divine prohibited acts are considered permitted; then the government shall go towards him, when he is sitting in his house (Masjedol Haram) one who is the best inhabitant of the earth. 4

In another narration, Imam Bagher (AS) prescribed, by interpreting the sacred verse: Oh! Though who have joined the religion, be patient against disturbance of the enemies and establish a firm relationship with your Imam, Mahdi (May Almighty God Hasten his Coming). One who dies having obtained a complete knowledge, shall not be harmed by his coming, whether it is hastened or it is delayed.

Someone who dies while he knows well his Imam, serves as one who sits with the Resurrector (AS) and stays in his commandment base. One who dies while he is waiting for his emergence, shall not fear of having not comprehend the emergence, and that he is not inside Mahdi’s commandment base and among his army. May almighty God grace a slave who has endowed himself/herself to us to keep alive our religion,…. 5
