In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
1. The striking calamity:
2. What is the striking calamity?!
3. What makes you know what the striking calamity is?
4. The Day when people shall be like moths scattered about,
5. And the mountains like wool carded,
6. Then as for him whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy,
7. He shall be in a life with which he is well-pleased,
8. And as for him whose scales (of good deeds) are light,
9. His home shall be a burning abyss.
10. And what explains to you what this is?
11. It is a Fire fiercely blazing!
