In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
1. May both the hands of Abu-Lahab perish, and may he too;
2. Neither his wealth nor what he earns shall avail him.
3. Soon shall he burn in the flaming Fire,
4. And his wife, the bearer of the firewood,
5. Upon her neck shall be a halter of twisted rope.
