Mustahabb things of ihram
Issue 124. Before entering irham it is recommended that one's body is pure and clean of additional hair and one's nails are clipped. It is also mustahabb before entering ihram to clean teeth with siwak stick.
It is also mustahabb to take ghusl before entering ihram in the miqat or before reaching it — in Medina for example — and it is said that according to caution this ghusl should not be neglected.
Furthermore, it is recommended to enter ihram after an obligatory prayer like noon prayer, etc. or after offering two-rak`ah nafilah prayer. Some hadiths recommended offering six mustahabb rak`ahs which is of more merit.
It I mustahabb also to let one's hair or beard grow freely from the beginning of the month of Dhul-Qi`dah.
